In support of the congregation of South Uist and Benbecula, we are pleased to hold a fundraising Soup and Pudding lunch in the MAMM Hall from 12 noon till 2.00pm. Monies raised will be used to fund the cost of replacing the heating in the church at Lochboisdale.
 
If you can help with the provision of a soup or pudding, or help with serving etc on the day, please put your name down on the form supplied at the main door today and indicate in the relevant column what contribution you would like to make.

On Monday 31st December, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar will host a civic event from 9:30pm in the Lewis Sports Centre to mark the centenary of the Iolaire tragedy, featuring military and school band performances, poetry readings and songs, drama in addition to spiritual elements.

Tickets will be free of charge but there will only be a limited number available on a first come, first serve basis from 9am on Monday 10th September 2018 online at https://www.cne-siar.gov.uk/news/2018/july/tickets-for-a-community-remembers-event/. and over the phone by calling Customer Services on 01851 600 502.
