Legacy Live - new online sermon website
The Free Church of Scotland has launched a new online sermon website. Due to the blessings of modern technology we can now listen to sermons that were preached many years ago. Most of these were originally recorded and preserved on tape and have now been successfully digitised by Iain Mackenzie from Tong.
Legacy Live hosts sermons preached by many different ministers including Rev. Douglas Macmillan, Rev. Donald Lamont, Prof John Murray and Rev. Kenny Macdonald (Rosskeen). For many, this will be an opportunity to listen again to the preachers of their youth, many of whom were used by God to bring people to faith in Christ. For younger generations, Legacy Live provides a wonderful opportunity to hear these great preachers from the past for the first time.
There are currently over 1000 English sermons on the website with many more to follow. Over 500 Gaelic sermons have been digitised and these will be uploaded to the website in due course.
Our prayer is that God will bless this unique legacy of gospel preaching and that it will bear much fruit in the years to come.
The website is currently featured on the home page of the Free Church of Scotland website and can also be accessed using the following link –http://legacy.freechurch.org/
