News & Updates

Notices - Sunday 22nd December

Sunday 22nd December
There will be a Christmas Congregational Fellowship in the hall after the evening service. Similar to last year’s fellowship, we will have some carols to sing, mince pies to eat, a quiz to take part in and a few other goodies as well. We want this to be a family occasion. The quiz will be set at level “easy” (the minister has promised!) so that the children can take part and all the children who come will get something! Do please come.

Tuesday 24th December
There will be a Christmas Eve Watchnight Service in the Town Hall at 11.30pm hosted by the Bayhead Youth Group. Everyone is warmly welcome. There will be a collection in aid of Steadfast Global.

Saturday 28th December
The Ladies Walking Group will meet at the car park, Lews Castle Museum at 11am for a walk in the Castle Grounds. All welcome.

Walk with Me
Online Daily Devotional Series: Generation announces the launch of a brand new daily devotional series called Walk With Me available online at https://walkwithme.generation-mission.org/. You can sign up now for daily email updates or visit the Walk With Me website each day. The series will start from 1st January 2020.

Written by Billy Graham, an elder in St Columba’s Free Church, Edinburgh, these devotionals contain daily truths for people of all ages – biblical truths to encourage, guide and challenge each one of us. We hope this project encourages younger generations to come and walk through 2020 with a man who has sat at the feet of Jesus and who has followed the call of his Father for many years.
