Notices - Sunday 19th May

GOOD NEWS for Everyone! (formerly Gideons UK)
The Western Isles Branch Annual Rally will be held at the Associated Presbyterian Church, Keith St, Stornoway, on Friday 7 June 2024 at 7.30pm.

The main speaker will be Bill Thomas, former National President.

All Welcome - refreshments will be served afterwards

Using the Kenneth Street Church Car Park:

To maximise the space available in the Kenneth Street church car park it would be greatly appreciated if drivers could adhere to the following:

  1. Please try to avoid leaving large gaps between cars.
  2. In the lane nearest the church, please use the whole lane.  Some drivers stop just before the KEEP CLEAR marking which frequently prevents access to the remaining section of the lane.
  3. As the lanes fill, drivers are reminded that the striped area at the top of the car park is to facilitate turning when the car park is used for public parking between Monday and Saturday.  On Sundays, as everyone attending services arrives and leaves at roughly the same time, the whole area, including the striped area, should be used for parking.
  4. Drivers remaining for the time of fellowship in the hall after the morning service should ensure that their cars are not preventing others from exiting the car park.
