Champion’s Challenge Holiday Club: 29th July to 2nd August 2024
We are gearing up for a week of Olympic-themed fun and games at our summer club this year! We will be learning about our ultimate champion Jesus and we are delighted to have a full squad of 80 children. Please pray for the volunteers in their preparation, for the children and their families who come and for God to receive all the glory.

If you would like to donate any (nut-free) baking for the club, please contact Evelyn on 07795 312924.

If you would like to contribute towards the costs of running the club, you are welcome to put your donation in an envelope clearly marked ‘Holiday Club’ and leave it in the collection plates at the church or Seminary.

Free Breakfast @ the Free Church
If anyone would like to help with our annual Free Breakfast on Sunday 21^st July from 8.30am to 10.30am, please email the church office or get in touch with Peigi Maclennan.

We need volunteers to prepare breakfasts in the kitchen, others to serve and clear tables, and some more to chat with visitors. It’s always a lovely morning with an opportunity to demonstrate hospitality, and to share the gospel.

Friday 28^th June at 7.00pm - Service of thanksgiving in the church to mark the retirement of our minister, Rev James Maciver. The service will be conducted by Rev Kenneth I. Macleod and live on YouTube (Channel name – Stornoway Free Church).

This will be followed with a reception in the M.A. Hall where refreshments will be served, speeches given, and presentations made.

Anyone wishing to donate baking or is willing to help on the evening should contact Lizzie.

Between now and the evening of Wednesday 26^th June, an opportunity is given to the congregation to contribute towards a presentation.  Contributions should be placed in an envelope clearly marked ‘Presentation’ and left in the plates at the church or the Seminary.
