Assisted Suicide Bill (Scotland)
An Assisted Suicide bill is being brought to the Scottish Parliament by Liam Macarthur MSP. There is an opportunity to respond to this bill up until Friday 16th August. The Christian Institute are raising awareness of this issue and how to oppose it. If you are on their mailing list you would have received a letter about how to respond or you can find information online at:

Please respond and pray over this matter as it will impact on many vulnerable people of different age groups. Also remember those who find themselves in difficult terminal illnesses and end of life care situations.

Communion
God willing, The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated next Lord’s Day, 2nd June at the morning service. A preparatory service will be held on Saturday 1st June at 7.00pm in the church, Kenneth Street.
The Kirk Session will be delighted to meet with any who wish to take communion for the first time and those who have this in mind are encouraged to come. Opportunity for this will be given after the midweek service on Wednesday evening (29th) and again after the Saturday evening service. Please note that the Session will NOT now meet on Monday 27th as previously intimated.

Keswick Convention
There are seats available on the coach going to the Keswick Convention for the first week, departing Ullapool pier at 10.00am on Saturday 13th July and returning from Keswick a week later on the 20th. There are seats still available on the coach. Anyone interested has to arrange their own accommodation for the week, and pay the ferry as well. A flat for 4 has become available in Keswick that week. It has a double room, twin room, dining area, and sitting room. The apartment cost is about £950.
