Salvation Army Collection
At this time of year the local branch of the Salvation Army helps a considerable number of individuals and families in our community by giving out hot water bottles, toiletries, food parcels and toys. There will be an opportunity for our congregation to contribute to this work over the next two weeks by donating hot water bottles and toiletries -these can be everyday toiletries or gift packs, but all items must be new and unused. Please place any donated items in the box inside the MA Hall door. The final date for donations is Sunday 16th December. Please contact Elaine Macmillan on [email protected] or call 07876 225120 if you have any queries.

Children and youth groups

Campaigners and Parents & Toddlers have finished for the year but resume in January.

The Christian Institute
The sum raised for the Christian Institute on the National Day of Prayer will not be forwarded for a week or two to give others who still want to contribute an opportunity to do so. Contributions should be placed in an envelope clearly marked 'Christian Institute' and left in the collection plates at the church or Seminary.

Sitting of the Land Court
A formal sitting of the Land Court will take place in the Rev MA Macleod Memorial Hall from 10.00am on Wednesday 12th December and may continue until Friday 14th December. As members of the public are likely to attend, it would be appreciated if the precincts of the church are not used for general parking and that disabled persons attending the hearing have unrestricted access to the designated parking spaces at the side of the hall.
