Monday 9 th April
Deacons’ Court meets at 7pm in the Session Room, Kenneth St


Tuesday 10th April
Basic Christianity discussion group will meet from 7:30-9pm in the Upper Hall. If you want to learn more about the Christian Faith, please join us in a relaxed and informal setting where we can consider some of life’s important questions. If you have not previously attended, why not come along and try it out? There is no weekly commitment expected, and you can just sit and listen to the discussion if that is your preference.


Friday 13th April
WFM will host an Afternoon Tea from 2pm-4pm in the hall. All welcome. Contributions of baking will be gratefully received. Volunteers are also required to assist on the day. If you can help with baking or on the day please phone Donna on 702279, or Lizzie on 700238 or Anne on 860757.


Saturday 14th April
There will be a Fundraising Lunch from 12-2pm in the hall in aid of Crossroads. All welcome.


Western Isles Women's Aid have a woman and 3 children about to take up a new tenancy and are looking for donations of household items to help them start their new home. This includes anything from kitchenware to homeware to bedding and towels to furniture, and so on. Items must be new and unused. If you can help in any way please contact Women’s Aid directly on 704750 or on their Facebook page or speak to Elaine Macmillan (phone 703575 or 07876225120).

Moldova Donations
Volunteers are being sought to help process donations for Moldova at the Kenneth Street Store (Old Coop) on Friday 13th April.  There are two sessions – 2.30-4.00pm and 4.15-6.30pm.  The donations of bedding, clothes, toys etc require to be sorted and packed for transit.  If you are able to help, please come along on Friday- both male and female volunteers are required. The Gambia Partnership are looking for good quality second hand goods for the Gambia Shop. All funds are reinvested in The Gambia where they go a lot further and make a massive difference in the lives of those over there. Please get in touch with the Gambia Partnership by phoning 07900 302041 or 07415 847869 if you have any unwanted goods such as clothing, books, toys, jewellery, CDs and DVDs, quality homeware, small items of furniture, wool etc

Sunday 15th April
The Congregational Fellowship will meet in the hall after the evening service and all are welcome. Angus Mackay (Corran Media) will share his testimony and his experience of being a Christian working in the media.


Friday 20th April
The 55+ Fellowship will meet in the M.A. Hall from 2.30-4.00pm. The speaker is Rev Calum Iain Macleod, Lochs & precentor is Mr Calum Martin (Tong).


Saturday 21st April
There will be a Fundraising Lunch from 12-2pm in the hall in aid of Alzheimer’s Scotland. All welcome.
