Notices - Sunday 4th August

Communion
The Lord’s Supper is due to be dispensed in the congregation on 25th August at the morning services. The preparatory services will be from Thursday 22nd and the Kirk Session will open on Thursday evening at 7.00pm, rather than as usual on Wednesday evening since the Presbytery is due to meet at Garrabost Free Church on Wednesday evening. More details will be given nearer the time. The ministers expected for most of the services are Rev Dr Malcolm Maclean (Inverness Free Greyfriars) and Rev Alasdair Macaulay (Tain and Fearn Free Church).

 
Read the New Testament in 2019
For those participating in the Free Church’s Generation Bible Read Through Project, this week’s chapters are Matthew 1-6.

There will be an After-Church Fellowship in the MA Hall where the visiting ministers will be present.
 

Saturday 31st August
There will be a Fundraising Lunch for Moldova / SERA Projects from 12-2pm in the MA Hall.


Friday 6th September
Stuart Townend, writer of modern hymns such as “In Christ Alone” and “How Deep the Father’s Love” will be performing at the Lewis Sports Centre from 7.30pm.
