Special Collection
A special collection will be taken at the close of all services on Sunday for Bethesda. Collection points will be in place at each exit and at the two doors leading from upstairs.
Sunday 3rd February
Bayhead Youth Group will meet in the Bridge Centre, 8.30-9.30pm. Hector Macdonald will be speaking. All are welcome to attend.
All young people are invited to the hall after the evening service for food and refreshment before heading down to the Bridge Centre together for 8.30pm.
Tuesday 5th February:
Youth Club will be visiting the Ice Rink at Scaladale, God willing.
Please meet at 7pm at the church hall for departure to Scaladale at 7.15pm. We will return around 10pm/10.30pm. Please bring thick, comfy socks and gloves. Cost is £5 each. Please also bring any outstanding consent forms. Contact Mairianne for more info – [email protected]
Basic Christianity discussion group will meet from 7:30-9pm in the MA Hall. Please join us in a relaxed informal setting to explore what Christianity is all about.
Saturday 9th February
There will be a fund-raising lunch to support Marsali Campbell and her work with Dwelling Places in Kampala and Karamoja in Uganda from 12-2pm in the Rev MA Macleod Memorial Hall. Please come along if you can.
Subscriptions for The Record
Subscriptions for the 2019 Record are now due. If you prefer to pay annually, please put your remittance of £24.00 in an envelope clearly marked 'Record'- the envelope should also include your name and address.
Stornoway Religious Bookshop
The Stornoway Religious Bookshop are having a sale in the shop from 1st February. There will be a selection of children's books and adults books reduced as well as bibles, gifts, cards, cds etc.

Communion
The next communion will be held on the Lord’s Day 17th February 2019. Details of services will be given nearer the time. We expect to have Rev Colin Macleod, Leith Free Church for the English services. Colin is a son of the late Rev Murdo Alex Macleod who was minister of the Stornoway Free Church from 1984-1995. The Gaelic services and communion will be conducted by Rev Roddy John Campbell, North Tolsta Free Church. Rev Callum Macleod, Shawbost and Rev Iain Macritchie, Park, will also be conducting some of the pre-communion services.
