Summer Holiday Club - Champions Challenge
On your marks... Get set.... GO!
God willing we hope to run an Olympic themed Holiday Club for primary school aged children this summer from Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August, 10.00am to 12:30pm in the M.A. Hall.

We need volunteers - Many hands make light work!
If you are interested in helping in any way with the preparations or being part of the team during holiday club week there are plenty jobs to do both big and small - donations of baking, craft-making or preparation, helping with hall decorating and set up, games, registration, organising snacks, singing.... The list goes on. Please come along to our next Holiday Club planning meeting on Tuesday 16th April at 7.30pm in the M.A. Hall.

EVERYONE in our congregation is invited to be part of the team by praying with us for God's guidance and that ultimately God's name will be glorified in all things.

Scottish Government proposal to ban conversion practices - Update from The Free Church of Scotland

The consultation closes at midnight on 2nd April. The Free Church of Scotland website has a copy of the response prepared by the Public Engagement Group which can be used for guidance.

This can be accessed at https://freechurch.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Final-FCOS-Response-Ending-Conversion-Practices-Bill.pdf.

Their response to each question is comprehensive, but can be summarised in your responses. It is important that you use your own words in your answers.

We would like you to do three things:

  1. Pray that the proposals would be widely recognised as unworkable.
  2. Pray that the Scottish Government would be forced to abandon its plans altogether.
  3. Please respond to the consultation.

Take time to explain to your church and Christian friends why it is so important that they respond to the consultation.
