Free Breakfast @ the Free Church
If anyone would like to help with our annual Free Breakfast on Sunday 21st July from 8.30am to 10.30am, please email the church office or get in touch with Peigi Maclennan.
We need volunteers in the kitchen, to serve and clear tables, and to chat with visitors.
It’s always a lovely morning with an opportunity to demonstrate hospitality, and share the gospel.
Free Church Youth Camps – Chaperones required
We have a very specific need to find 3 people to chaperone young people to / from camp. The dates that we are looking for are:
- Saturday 27thJuly – chaperoning campers on the 7am ferry from Stornoway and onwards to Inverness. The chaperones would return to Ullapool for travelling back on the evening ferry.
- Saturday 3rdAugust – chaperoning campers on the 10.30am ferry from Ullapool. Chaperones would need to travel on the 7.00am ferry to Ullapool to meet the campers, and return with them on the ferry.

A very sincere thanks is due to the following who contributed so willingly to the success of the service and reception to mark the retirement of Rev James Maciver last Friday evening:
Those who helped with preparing the hall; Katie Macleod for the beautiful flower arrangements; those who so willingly provided such a varied and beautiful spread of baking and all those who so cheerfully served everyone present. Last, but not least, thanks to those who remained behind afterwards to clear the hall and keep the dishwasher going till everything was sparkling clean!
