Annual Special Collection for Bethesda
A special collection will be taken for Bethesda Home and Hospice at all services next Sunday, 4^th February. Collection points will be available at all exits. Contributions can also be made by cheque and should be made payable to ‘Stornoway Free Church’ and placed in an envelope clearly marked ‘Bethesda’.

 

Death
We were sorry to hear that Mrs Kate Maclean, formerly Grant Square and latterly Bethesda Care Home, had passed away. We extend our sincere condolences and prayerful remembrance to her husband Angus along with all other relatives, friends and neighbours.

 

 

Women for Mission
The Stornoway WfM committee have decided to postpone the Praise Evening scheduled for Friday 2^nd February until later on in the Spring.

 

 

Visit of David Meredith, Free Church Mission Director
David Meredith will be speaking at an open meeting in the M. A. Hall on Tuesday 30^th January at 7.30pm.

The focus of the evening will be ‘The Next Ten Years: Building a Vision For Our Church’, and will include a talk along with opportunities for questions and discussions.

The meeting is open to all and everyone is warmly invited to attend.

 

Islands Study Conference – 2^nd to 4^th February 2024
The lectures will be held in the North Harris Free Church to which all are welcome to attend. The speakers will be Rev John Macleod, Allander Evangelical Church and Rev David Court, Christ Church Edinburgh.

No pre-booking is required for the lectures. There is a residential accommodation option available in the Harris Hotel for the duration of the conference. There are some programmes available at the church door.
