Tuesday 29th January
-Basic Christianity discussion group will meet from 7:30-9pm in the MA Hall. Please join us in a relaxed informal setting to explore what Christianity is all about.
-Craft Group meets at 7.30pm in the Hall. Beginners welcome.
Friday 1st February
Western Isles Free Church Mission Support Group will be hosting their annual supper evening at 7pm in the MA Hall. The speaker will be Janice Gilmour who will speak about her recent trip to Iraq. Donations from the evening will go to Muriel Macleod (Cambodia) & Catriona Macdonald (Peru). All very welcome.
Subscriptions for The Record
Subscriptions for the 2019 Record are now due. If you prefer to pay annually, please put your remittance of £24.00 in an envelope clearly marked 'Record'- the envelope should also include your name and address.
Special Collection - Sunday 3rd February
A special collection will be taken at the close of all services next Lord's Day (3rd February) for Bethesda. Collection points will be in place at each exit and at the two doors leading from upstairs.

ADVANCE NOTICES
Tuesday 5th February
Youth Club for S2-S6 will be visiting the Ice Rink at Scaladale. More details to follow next week.
Saturday 9th February
There will be a Soup and Pudding fundraising lunch in aid of Marsali Campbell, Dwelling Places from 12-2pm in the MA Hall. All welcome.
Communion
The next communion will be held on the Lord’s Day 17th February 2019. Details of services will be given nearer the time. We expect to have Rev Colin Macleod, Leith Free Church for the English services. Colin is a son of the late Rev Murdo Alex Macleod who was minister of the Stornoway Free Church from 1984-1995. The Gaelic services and communion will be conducted by Rev Roddy John Campbell, North Tolsta Free Church. Rev Callum Macleod, Shawbost and Rev Iain Macritchie, Park, will also be conducting some of the pre-communion services.
