Tuesday 26th November
-Christianity Discussion Group meets in the Cabarfeidh Hotel from 7.30pm. All very welcome. Please contact Roddy Cunningham or Cala Mackenzie if you have any questions.
-Craft Group meets in the hall from 7.30pm. All welcome.
Wednesday 27th November - National Day of Prayer
In keeping with the past few years the General Assembly appointed this day as a day of Prayer throughout the Church. Consequently, the evening service in the Seminary will take the form of a prayer meeting, to seek God’s blessing, forgiveness and guidance. Prayers will concentrate on local and national matters of concern. Attendance is encouraged.
There will be additional prayer meetings led by Alistair Macleod in the Session room, Kenneth Street from 8am-9am and from 1pm-2pm.
Please note that the MA Hall will remain open throughout the day for anyone who wishes to come and pray.
Thursday 28th November - Thanksgiving Service
The Presbytery at its last meeting appointed this day as Thanksgiving Day throughout the Presbytery area. The service that evening will be held in the Seminary and will be in English with a Gaelic singing and a message suitable for the theme of thanksgiving. The collection taken at the Harvest Thanksgiving service will be for the congregation's Benevolent Fund. Attendance is encouraged.
Saturday 30th November
-The Ladies Walking Group will meet at the car park, Lews Castle Museum at 11am for a walk in the Castle Grounds. All welcome.
-A Soup and Pudding Fundraising Lunch will be held in St Columba’s from 12-2pm in aid of Reach Out Ministries in Bangalore, India.
GIGA Christmas Fayre
All welcome to come along to Stratheden Studio, 3 Memorial Avenue
to support the raising of funds for GIGA on Friday 29th Nov (6.30pm til late) and Saturday 30th Nov (12-4pm).
Paintings by Torquil Macleod along with some crafts and gifts.
Refreshments available.
All funds raised go towards God is Good Africa.
