The Pursuit of God in an Age of Pornography
Weekend Conference:  28th - 30th October, with guest speaker Rev. Joe Barnard.

We live in an age where pornography is everywhere. More than that, the world is constantly teaching us to see the world, and each other, through a sexualised lens. Yet God calls us to a life of holiness. Members of the Western Isles Presbytery have organised a weekend conference, with meetings for all ages, on how we can pursue God in such a world.

Meetings:

Men's Meeting:
Friday 28th 19:30pm - 21:00pm at the County Hotel, Stornoway.

Women’s Meeting:

Friday 28th , 19:30pm – 21:00pm At M. A. Hall, Kenneth Street, Stornoway.

Parents, Carers and Youth Workers Meeting:

Saturday 29th 10:30am - 12:30pm at North Harris Free Church, Tarbert.
Soup and sandwiches lunch provided.

18-30 Year Old's Meeting:

Saturday 29th 19:00pm at North Harris Free Church, Tarbert.

Big Youth Fellowship:

Sunday 30th 20:00pm at M. A. Hall, Free Church, Kenneth Street.
While open to all young people, the target audience will be young people in S1-S6, from across the Western Isles.

Rev Joe Barnard and Ms Ali Macdonald are our speakers, and they will deal sensitively with a difficult but important topic. Young people will be split into two groups according to their age for the talk.

Food will be provided.

Cost: There is no cost for attending the meetings but there will be an opportunity to donate if you wish to.
