Wednesday 26th February - Presbytery Youth & Discipleship Support Worker -Commissioning Service.
A Commissioning Service to mark the appointment of Mr Gordon Macleod as the Presbytery Youth & Discipleship Support Worker will be held in North Harris Free Church, Tarbert, on Wednesday 26th February 2020 at 7.30pm. Rev James Maciver will preach and preside. We give thanks
to the Lord for Gordon's appointment and for the desire he's been given to engage in this important work. Your attendance at the service would be a great encouragement to Gordon and confirmation of your prayerful interest as he prepares to take up the post on 1st March 2020.
Saturday 29th February
The Ladies Walking Group will be setting off from the car park at the Lews Castle museum at 11am for a walk in the Castle Grounds. All welcome.
Day One (LDOS) Special Collection
A Special Collection will be taken for Day One (LDOS) at all services on Sunday 1st March. Collections points will be in place at all exits, including the doors leading from the first floor of the church.
Sailors’ Society - Collection of Bibles
The Sailors’ Society, based in Invergordon, are looking for old English Bibles (any version) for distributing to some of the 168,000 passengers and 70,000 crew that visit the area each year. The Sailors’ Society runs a Seafarers Centre during the summer months during which they distribute Bibles and Christian Literature to all their visitors. If you have English Bibles you are no longer using and would be willing to donate, could you please leave them in the marked box, inside the front door of the MA Hall.
