Friday 26th July
The Annual Convention of the Stornoway Alcoholics Anonymous Group will be held at 7.30pm at St Columbas Church. This is a public meeting so all are welcome.


Saturday 27th July
The Ladies Walking Group will be leaving from the car park at the Lews Castle museum at 11am for a walk in the Castle Grounds. All very welcome.

Read the New Testament in 2019
For those participating in the Free Church’s Generation Bible Read Through Project, the chapters this week are 1 Timothy 6 and 2 Timothy 1-4.

The Grace on the Green 2019 committee would appreciate your prayers for this event to be a God-glorifying evening of worship at the heart of our community.


Friday 6th September
Stuart Townend, writer of modern hymns such as “In Christ Alone” and “How Deep the Father’s Love” will be performing at the Lewis Sports Centre from 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £15 for general admission and £10 for under 18s. Tickets are available at Stornoway Religious Book Shop or online at www.tickettailor.com/events/eventplanningstornoway



ETS Prayer Points - July 2019

▪️Give thanks for all that has been achieved over the past academic year and pray for staff and students as they rest over the summer break.

▪️Please pray for our part-time and full-time lecturers as they prepare for the new academic session beginning in September.

▪️Please pray for Malcolm Maclean, Chairman of the Seminary Board, as he leads the board in organising provision for the next academic session.
