Moldova Trip
On the 21st of June this year, three of us, Eoghain MacPhee, Dawn Campbell and Megan Davies plan to fly out to Moldova.  We will be there for two weeks, returning on the 5th of July.  As with the previous two years, we are going to help lead one of the youth camps. These camps have been running for fourteen years now and have been a great means of bringing people to Christ and building up new leaders for the church in the town of Nisporeni where we work.

Moldova is economically the poorest country in Europe.  Because of this, many are forced to work abroad to make a decent living. This has a direct impact on the young people there as many of their parents are working abroad and they very rarely see them.  They stay with grandparents or other extended family who they often have to work for to earn some money for themselves, as well as coping with the pressure of coursework, exams and all the other pressures that face young people today.
Camp gives some of them a chance to leave their worries behind and simply enjoy being a young person.  They have the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and have lots of fun but above all, they have the opportunity to hear what Jesus Christ has done and what he can do for them.  The message of the Gospel is presented to them powerfully and effectively through the talks, the worship and the testimony of some of the leaders.  God has blessed these camps greatly over the years and we pray that He will continue to do so. Seeing souls brought to Christ is among the greatest of privileges one can have.

We ask for your support, both prayerfully and financially.  If you would like to donate towards the cost of the camp, please contact  Eogh ain by email ([email protected]) or by phone (07876406059).  Whatever you are able to give is greatly appreciated.  You can sponsor one young person to attend camp by giving £50. This pays for their travel, accommodation and three meals for 6 full days. All donations go towards the cost of the camp.  The Scottish team pay all their own travel and expenses.  Thank you for your support.
