The course running on Saturday 25th January from 10.00am to 12 noon still has places available.

If there is anyone in the congregation who is interested in attending this training, please get in touch with Ian Murdo Macleod as soon as possible by email, message or voice call to book your place.

Having given the vacancy prayerful consideration these past months Rev Calum Murdo Smith does not wish his name to be included any further in the process. Calum is passionately committed to ministering in his current role which he finds deeply fulfilling and very much looks forward to being fully involved in the ongoing work of the congregation.

The Vacancy Committee are very mindful of the time that has elapsed since Rev James MacIver retired. Please be patient and prayerful as they continue to work together discussing the way forward. If you have any questions the Vacancy Committee and Interim Moderator can be contacted at any time.

Today’s Bible memory verse for Pr1 - Pr7 is from the book Proverbs. Please help us to learn it and have a go yourself at learning it with us.

Proverbs 3: 5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.

Curry Evening for Free Church Youth Camps
You are warmly invited to a curry evening in the M A Hall on Friday 31st January at 6.30pm.

The money raised will be used to defray the costs for campers and camp leaders attending from our own congregation. Food other than curry will also be available.

To book a seat or table please phone Ali Moley on 07810 691033.

Donations can be made at the door on the evening.

Service Opportunities
There are many opportunities to serve in the youth work in the congregation. We are keen to recruit a few more volunteers to help on a rota basis with our Toddlers group and Explorers group (P4-P7) in particular. Explorers would benefit from both male and female leaders.

Please get in touch with Mairianne Campbell in the church office to find out more: [email protected].
