We were deeply sorry to hear of Mr Callum Ian Macmillan’s sudden passing. We extend our sincere condolences to his widow Christine, son John, son Andrew and his wife Katie with their daughter Isabella. We also remember Christine’s sisters Etta and Agnes along with their families, all cousins, and other relatives.
We pray that God will comfort them all at this time of loss and sorrow.
Service of thanksgiving and reception to mark the retirement of our minister, Rev James Maciver.
On Friday 28th June, a short service of thanksgiving will be held in the Kenneth Street church at 7.00pm which will be conducted by Rev Kenneth I. Macleod. This will be followed with a reception in the M.A. Hall where refreshments will be served, speeches delivered, and presentations made.
The congregation’s catering teams have kindly agreed to take care of the arrangements for the evening.
Between now and the evening of Wednesday 26th June, an opportunity is given to the congregation to contribute towards a presentation. Contributions should be placed in an envelope clearly marked ‘Presentation’ and left in the plates at the church or the Seminary.
As a mark of the esteem in which we hold James and Donna and our sincere gratitude for their ministry among us for the last eight years, it is hoped that as many as possible will attend the service and reception on Friday 28th June.
