Sunday School News
Welcome to the first, of what we hope will be a regular input from our Sunday School - YOUR Sunday School!  Each week, one of our pupils or teachers will keep you posted on some of the work from Sunday School.

We hope you will enjoy discovering what goes on in the hall on Sunday mornings during term time. Please remember to pray for all our precious children, from our toddlers to our teens, as they learn to love Jesus, to study His Word and to love those around them more each week.

"Today in Primary 6 we have been learning about when Jesus celebrated the Passover, and the first special feast called the Lord’s Supper.  Our memory verse is 1 Corinthians 11:26.

This week we were told about the sad things that are happening in Ukraine. We have given £500 to Blythswood from the money we give every week. We are praying for all the people affected.”
By Caitlin Macleod, P6

Thank you from the Macritchie Family

We, the family of the late Marilyn MacRitchie, would like to convey our sincere gratitude and thanks for all the many expressions of sympathy from the Stornoway congregation and those connected with it and to those who facilitated, conducted, and took part in the wake and the funeral.

Due to the generosity of those attending the services the astonishing amount of £1256 was raised for Bethesda.

During these last weeks we have known a wonderful sense of peace and a spirit of thankfulness. Thank you for your love. Mum was blessed to be part of your church family.
