Welcome to Communicants
We were thankful and delighted to welcome Eilidh Macdonald, from Aignish, into communicant membership at the recent communion. We pray that Eilidh will continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord and that we, as a congregation, will provide support and encouragement to her.
We also welcomed Peigi Macleod, Melbost, who joined our communicant membership by a disjunction from Garrabost Free Church. For Peigi we also pray for the Lord’s blessing to be her portion daily.
“Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples” – Psalm 105 v1.
Women for Mission Ultimate Recipe Book
Due to a supply issue at our printers, committee members will not be able to deal with individual orders received from congregations and WfM groups in the Western Isles, and elsewhere, until Christmas week.
We are making every effort to minimise the impact of this and apologise for any inconvenience this causes. We hope to have the books by 21st/22nd December.
Please speak to Johan if you require more information.
FCYC 2023 Registration Open!
Registration for Free Church Youth Camps 2023 is now open.
God willing, there will be 9 camps in summer 2023 and all the information about them (including Team Leaders & Costs) are online.
Free Church Youth Camps are a brilliant week of fun and games, activities, challenges, and lots of tasty food. But most importantly they are a week of discipleship for young Christians in our churches, and an opportunity for young people that aren’t yet Christians to learn more about Jesus and His relevance to their lives. It is amazing to see and hear of the impact the Free Church Youth Camps have had over the last 62 years, please pray with us for that to continue for many years to come.
The registration deadline is Monday 30th January 2023. For a little more info, this short news update gives you more details on the 9 camps on offer. The FCYC website and social media pages will also be posting information about the camps over the registration period.
