Special Collection – Day One Ministries – Sunday 8th August

Day One Ministries, formerly the Lord’s Day Observance Society, campaigns for Sunday to be a day of worship and rest, particularly as its importance as a Creation ordinance is increasingly under threat from retail businesses, sports events, and entertainment.

Since 1978 Day One has been ministering regularly, and with much blessing, to inmates in prisons and Young Offenders Institutes throughout the UK. In the early 1990s Day One began publishing Christian books and resources for adults and children which promote Biblical truths and deal with subjects as diverse as creation/evolution, ethics, children’s topics, evangelism, and devotional material.

Collection points will be in place at all exits

Return of 2021 Freewill Offering Envelopes

For those who are still unable to attend services of worship, an opportunity is given to return their Freewill Offering envelopes to the Rev M. A. Macleod Memorial Hall on Saturday 14th August between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity you should come along during those times or arrange for a family member or a friend to deliver the envelopes on your behalf. You can also contact your district elder or deacon and arrange a time for one of them to collect the envelopes from your home.
