Finlay Eric Macleod
As a congregation and community, we offer our deepest condolences to Ruth and Finlay Macleod following the tragic death of their beautiful baby, Finlay Eric, on the 31st of May 2021 from an undiagnosed congenital heart defect. He was just 20 weeks old. We pray the God of all comfort will be very near to them in their dark sorrow. Finlay and Ruth would like to thank their family, friends, neighbours and the wider community for the love, support and prayers following the loss of their precious baby. They have been greatly strengthened and deeply moved with the many expressions of kindness extended both to themselves and their families at this very difficult time.
As a tribute to Finlay Eric, they have created the following page where donations can be made in his memory: https://finlaymacleod.muchloved.com/
All the monies raised will be forwarded directly to the ‘Tiny Tickers’ charity which aims to improve the early detection and care of babies with serious heart conditions.
