Why the Reformation is Worth Remembering
159 people gathered on Tuesday evening in Stornoway’s An Lanntair, to attend an event marking the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. The evening began with Professor Emeritus John R McIntosh delivering an interesting and wide-ranging lecture, entitled, ‘Why the Reformation is Worth Remembering’.
Following a short coffee break, Professor McIntosh was joined by Catriona Murray (Stornoway Free Church /LCC UHI) and Ruaraidh MacLean (Point Media) for a panel discussion, chaired by Reverend James MacIver (Stornoway Free Church). A commbination of questions from the floor, and contributions from the panel rounded off an enjoyable and informative evening.
