Life's Big Questions

A new study is underway on Tuesday evenings at the Free Church Hall on Kenneth St., Stornoway, from 7.30pm to 9pm looking at Tim Keller’s DVD ‘The Reason for God.’ During the weeks we meet we will be exploring the truth of Christianity and looking, in particular, at the following topics:

 Tuesday 14 November 2017
Hasn't science disproved Christianity?
How Can You Say There Is Only One Way to God?
What About Other Religions?

 Tuesday 21 November 2017
What Gives You the Right to Tell Me How to Live My Life?
Why Are There So Many Rules?

Tuesday 28 November 2017
Why Does God Allow Suffering?
Why Is There So Much Evil in the World?

 Tuesday 5 December 2017
Why Is the Church Responsible for So Much Injustice?
Why Are Christians Such Hypocrites?

 Tuesday 12 December 2017
How Can God Be Full of Love and Wrath at the Same Time?
How Can God Send Good People to Hell?

Everyone interested in finding out more about Christianity is most welcome.
If you know of anyone you would like to encourage joining us each evening please feel free to come along with them. Most people come to know God through a friend, and this is an opportunity for you to invite friends for an informal, non-judgemental discussion about the truth of Christianity.
You are also welcome to come along just to listen. You will not be asked any questions although any contribution you make will be very welcome. There is no age barrier – this will be suitable for young and old.
There is no expectation to attend all sessions, and if you have never been before why not come along and try it out. You will be most welcome.
We look forward to seeing you!
