The Sacrament of Baptism will be dispensed at the close of the morning service. Children attending Sunday School should go through to the hall at the beginning of the service. The children will rejoin the service before the Baptism.
The Congregational Fellowship will meet in the hall after the evening service and all are welcome. Murdo Maciver (The Shed) will speak.
Monday 9 October Deacons’ Court meets at 7pm in the Session Room
Monday 9th October: WEC annual Visit – Mission in Crisis Situation
Missionaries working with the Kurds and with refugees will speak on Monday 9th October at 7.30pm in the APC Church Stornoway All are welcome. Tea will be served after the meeting.
Wednesday 11th Oct: 60th Anniversary of OM
The Presbytery will host a meeting in the M.A. Hall on Wednesday 11th October at 7.30pm to mark the 60th anniversary of Operation Mobilisation. Rev Calum Iain Macleod (Back) will chair the meeting and George Verwer, founder of OM, will speak. Tea and refreshments will be served afterwards. All most welcome

The 55+ Fellowship will meet in the M.A. Hall from 2.30-4pm and the speaker will be Robert Sinclair (Hebrides Alpha)

Parent & Toddler meets on Tuesday (1.00–3.00pm) and Thursday (9.45-11.45am)
Campaigners: C Club (6-7pm) and Crosstrax (7-8.30pm) on Monday in the hall
Kidz Zone meets at 6.15-7.30pm on Thursday in the hall
Midweek Meetings: All at 7.30pm
Wednesday – English in the hall (Presbytery event with George Verwer)
Thursday – Gaelic, Seminary (Mr Murdo Martin) Saturday – English, Seminary
Death Notices
We note with sadness the passing of Mrs Dollie Mary Macrae, 117 Newmarket whose funeral was on 26th September and Murdo Macdonald, Miller Road whose funeral was on 5th October. We extend our prayerful sympathy their families.
