Gambia Partnership Bibles Special Collection
The Gambia Partnership are currently raising funds to send printed and audio Bibles during 2025.
The Partnership has already purchased 500 solar powered audio Bibles in a variety of Gambian dialects. They cost £20 each and are particularly useful for those who are illiterate as they can hear the Word of God in their own language.
A special collection for this purpose will be taken at all services today. Contributions can also be made by cheque and made payable to ‘Stornoway Free Church’ and placed in an envelope clearly marked ‘Gambia Bibles’.
Thank You From Mission International
Rev Roddy Macrae, who recently spoke at a midweek meeting about this work, was in touch expressing the sincere thanks from all at Mission International for the congregation’s donation to the work.
The money has already been put to use in South Sudan providing food for displaced people who fled their homes because of rebel attacks on their village.

There are still spaces available at the Conference being held in North Harris Free Church, Tarbert on Saturday, 22nd March from 10.00am till 3.00pm.

The Gathering
The Gathering is a four-day event on the Isle of Skye for young men and women aged 18 to 30 which combines working on a croft and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding area with worship and Bible teaching.
It is a unique opportunity for spiritual formation and fellowship as we all work, eat and worship God together! The Gathering is ideal for those thinking about serving in rural ministry, but it is also great for anyone who wants to grow in their walk with Jesus. The only cost is a donation towards food! The dates are the 1st to 4th May 2025 and 31st July to 3rd August 2025.
For more information, please email [email protected].
