Notices - 3rd December
Central Sunday School will meet at 11am on Sunday 3rd Dec due to the communion. Children should go straight to the hall at 11am and will join the service along with their Sunday School teachers when the Lord's Supper is dispensed towards the close of the service.
Tonight: The Congregational Fellowship will meet in the hall after the evening service and all are welcome. The minister will give a short talk.
Election: Voting forms for the election of office bearers will be available next Lord’s Day and will include directions as to the voting procedure.
Donation Envelopes Office Bearers – please collect the box of 2018 freewill offering envelopes for your district from the Seminary as soon as possible. Thank you.
Death Notice: We were saddened to hear of the passing of Miss Margaret Ann Macleod, aged, 94, on Tuesday 28th November. A native of Garrabost, she had most recently resided in Blar Buidhe Nursing Home. She had previously lived in the Trust Housing at Matheson Road, and prior to that at Newton. We extend our condolences to her nephews Murdo Dan, John Murdo, Norman and Iain, and to her niece Mary.

Saturday 9 Dec GIGA Café You are invited to the MA Hall from 10am-4pm to browse the tables of home-made produce, crafts and bric a brac or to have a hot drink and a bacon roll! All proceeds to God is Good Africa, supporting God is Good School and Nursery and related ministry in Uganda. GIGA- Registered Charity-SCO 46758
Salvation Army Appeal At this time of year the Salvation Army help a considerable number of individuals and families in our community by giving out hot water bottles, toiletries, food parcels and toys. There will be an opportunity for the congregation to help over the next two weeks by donating new and unused hot water bottles and toiletries - these can be placed in the box inside the hall door up until December 10th.

-Stornoway Street Pastors is hoping to hold an information evening with Carols and Hot Chocolate on Tuesday 12th December at 7.30pm in St Columba's Church Hall. All are welcome. The management committee intends on holding information nights in other parts of the island in the new year. The AGM of the management committee will be held on Tuesday 16th January at 5pm in St Columba's hall. New committee members would be most welcome
Friday 15 December The 55+ Fellowship will meet in the M.A. Hall from 12.15- 2.00pm for a Soup and Pudding lunch. The speaker will be Donald Martin (St Columba's C of S) and all aged 55 and over are most welcome.
Saturday 16 December A lunch is being held to support Bethany Macleod who is going to volunteer with Tearfund. 12-2:00pm in the Hall.
