Our Church & Beliefs

We are a fellowship of believers, sinners saved by the grace of God, seekers of truth and committed to prayer and the study of God’s Word.

We embrace the timeless teachings of Christianity, as revealed in the Bible. These are articulated in the Westminster Confession of Faith, and include:

God
There is one God, who exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is sovereign, the creator of the world. He has revealed His nature to us, offers a plan for our salvation, and will one day judge everyone with justice.

The Bible
The Bible is God’s inspired Word to us. There are no contradictions or errors in it, and it serves as our ultimate guide in matters of faith and practice.

Jesus
Jesus Christ, both fully divine and fully human, was born of a virgin, sacrificed Himself on the cross, triumphantly rose from the dead, and now reigns in heaven and earth.

Our Human Nature
While we all face the challenge of sin, God offers a path to redemption. Without intervention, sin separates us from God, but His love provides a way to reconciliation.

Salvation
Through Christ’s sacrificial death, we are offered forgiveness and freedom from guilt. Jesus bore our punishment, providing complete reconciliation with God.

Amazing Grace
God’s forgiveness is a gift we cannot earn. Through His boundless love, God not only forgives us but sees us as righteous, just as Christ is righteous. This wonderful gift is only received through faith.

The Christian Life
The Holy Spirit works in believers’ lives, guiding them towards God and nurturing faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit dwells within Christians, transforming them to reflect Christ’s character and empowering them to live for Jesus in this world.

The Church of Christ
The Church is a living community of all true believers worldwide. Jesus remains present and active in the world today through His word, His people, and His Spirit.

The Glorious Return of Christ
Jesus will return in glory. He will bring perfect justice, rightly punishing those who have rejected God’s offer of forgiveness and welcoming those who have accepted God’s offer of forgiveness into eternal joy and peace.
