When the people are all gathered

From near and distant lands

To sing aloud in joyful sound

In fair Emmanuel’s land.

The words will be so pretty

The notes will be so sweet

Pray one day we will sing there

Around the Saviour’s feet.

There is a river clear as crystal

There is a street of purest gold

There is a house of many mansions
