Notices - Sunday 2nd June 2019

Tonight -There will be Congregational Fellowship in the Hall after the evening service, where both ministers will be speaking.

Bayhead Youth Group will meet at the Bridge Centre from 8.30pm, where the speaker will be Maggie Heriot.

Wednesday 5th June- A meeting will be held at 9pm in the Upper Hall to plan the summer outing and anyone who is interested in helping out is very welcome.

Thursday 6th June- Meeting for Teachers- Christian Values in Education Scotland and Serving in Mission have arranged a meeting for Christian teachers in the MA Hall at 8pm. Megan Paterson will host the meeting. There will be fellowship, information, prayer and discussion. Tea/coffee and cake will be available. Please contact Victoria Myles at [email protected] , or Donna (702279) if you wish to attend, so that they will know how many to cater for.

Friday 7th June
-WFM Annual Event will be held in the Cabarfeidh Hotel from 5-10pm. The speaker will be Megan Paterson on the theme of “Listening to the Shepherd’s Voice.” Megan has served in Benin Republic, West Africa, and currently works with Serving In Mission as an Education Consultant engaging with teachers worldwide. -The Gideons Western Isles Branch Annual Rally will be held
in the APC Church, Keith Street from 7.30pm. The main speaker will be Rev Hector Morrison, Principal of the Highland Theological College.

Basic Christianity discussion group has now finished for the summer but will resume in the autumn, God willing.

Read the New Testament in 2019

For those participating in the Free Church’s Generation Bible Read Through Project, the chapters in the reading plan for this week are Acts 23-27.
