Babies and Children

There is a crèche that meets in the hall next door to the church during the morning service: age 0-2yrs upstairs and age 3-7 (Holiday Tweenies) downstairs. You are welcome to take your children to the crèche/Tweenies at any time and please remember to sign them in.
No Sunday Schools today due to school holidays. Holiday Tweenies meets in the downstairs hall (after the second singing) for all children aged 3-7.

The Record: The October Monthly Record is now available at the church doors.

Presbytery Camp: Prayer Request
The Junior Presbytery Camp takes place from Friday 20th to Monday 23rd October in Scaladale, Harris. Please pray God’s blessing and protection for all involved.

Tuesday 24th October
- Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal: Come along and help fill boxes from 2pm to 3pm in the hall. Donations can be dropped off at the hall beforehand.
- Ladies’ Visiting Teams: The ladies’ visiting team volunteers are asked to attend a meeting on Tuesday 24th October at 7pm in the Kenneth Street Session Room. Any women wishing to become a volunteer with a visitation team please come along to the meeting or speak to Chrisell Macleod – 705669.
- All Girls Allowed Craft Group will meet in the hall at 7.30pm

Thursday 26th October The Pilgrims Progressing Bible Study for young workers will meet at 7.30pm at Diana Mackenzie’s house, 45 Newmarket. New people welcome anytime.

Advance Notice: Blythswood Annual Shoebox Appeal
The annual Shoebox Appeal will be held in Stornoway in the Old Coop, Kenneth Street (behind police station) on the following dates: Thursday 2nd November from 3.30-7pm; Friday 3rd November from 3 pm -7pm ; Saturday 4th November from 10am -12noon. If you can spare an hour or two to help check the shoeboxes, please come along and lend a hand. Accessing the church: Anyone who has mobility issues and who has difficulty managing the steps at the foyer and the front entrance of the church is encouraged to use the level access entry and exit door on the right hand side of the church.
Office-bearers are always available to assist if required.
