Sunday 13 August: Special Collection
A Special Collection will be taken at the close of all services today, 13th August, which will be presented to Rev David Macdonald who recently completed his studies for the ministry at Edinburgh Theological Seminary. David, who grew up in the congregation and has been a communicant member of it for several years, was inducted as Assistant minister of Back Free Church on Friday 11 August. Advance Notice: Communion
The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is due to be dispensed in the congregation on Sunday 27th August 2017, with the usual preliminary services daily from the previous Thursday. The ministers expected are Rev David Miller (for English) and Rev Ruairidh Maclean (for Gaelic), with other local ministers supplementing the services.

The Kirk Session (Ministers and Elders) will meet from the Wednesday evening before the communion so that anyone wishing to take communion for the first time may meet with them. Anyone wishing to discuss matters with Mr. Maciver or Mr. Macleod should not hesitate to contact them. Those who wish to join by certificates from other congregations should hand these to any of their district elders or to Mr Maciver or Mr Macleod between now and the communion.

Please pray for the expected ministers and that the Lord will bring further blessing to us in advance of and through this next communion.
