Rev Iver Martin – 2022 Moderator Designate
A recent Commission of Assembly was pleased to confirm Rev Iver Martin has accepted the nomination of Moderator Designate of the 2022 Free Church of Scotland General Assembly.

Please pray for Rev Martin and his family as he prepares to take up his role.

 

Blythswood Shoebox Appeal 2021 - Lewis and Harris

The Appeal Centre will be at Woody’s Express, Rigs Road, Stornoway, in one of the units at the rear of their Main Building.

The Appeal Centre will be open on the following days: 

Thursday 28th October, 3pm - 6 pm 
Friday 29th October, 3pm - 6.30 pm 
Saturday 30th October, 10am - 12 noon

The APPEAL will CLOSE on Saturday 30th October at 12 noon.

Shoeboxes should be taken into the Appeal Centre Unit and placed on a pallet.   Face coverings are mandatory for anyone entering the appeal centre and please use hand sanitiser on entry and exit. Volunteer Staff will be available to give advice. Shoeboxes from schools, churches, organisations, families, or individuals SHOULD NOT be handed into the Blythswood Shop on Kenneth Street. This is to safeguard against double-handling and in line with COVID Guidance.

LEAFLETS - Blythswood Shoebox Leaflets are available for collection from the Blythswood Shop,  Stornoway and Ness, Nicolson’s Newsagents, some schools, and at church doors. They are also available online.
