Campaigners Leaders needed:
Thank you to those who have volunteered to help with Campaigners next year. We need one more male leader for KidzZone.
KidzZone (P3 to P5) meets on Thursday, 6.15 - 7.30pm
This group will cease to run in SEPTEMBER 2017 without the adequate number of volunteers. If you would like to see what is involved, you are invited to come and meet the Leaders of these groups on a Thursday evening. Or if you would prefer you can speak to the Minister.

Thank You
Donna Maciver would like to thank all the women of the congregation’s Women for Mission committee and the congregation for their support during this first year of the WFM in the congregation. The sum of £3,400 was sent through to the main WFM funds in support of the WFM Project. In addition to this, last week’s Soup and Pudding lunch raised £1,177! This has been such an encouraging year, praise be to God.

Major repairs to Seminary roof:
From Monday 29th May until the middle of August, contractors will be undertaking major repairs to the Seminary roof. This will mean some disruption for us a congregation though we do hope to have use of the building for services on the Lord’s Day and the weekly prayer meetings. Funeral services which have to be held between Monday and Friday over this period will be conducted at the Kenneth Street church.
As the contractor will require a secure space within the car park for safe storage of building materials and staff welfare cabins, there will obviously be some reduction to the space available for parking.
The work will also require having to erect scaffolding on several sections of the building. While the contractor will take all necessary steps to minimise the risks of damage and injury, we should be mindful of the need to drive carefully and to walk a safe distance from any protruding hazards.
The work being done to the Seminary roof is extensive and getting it to this stage has meant many hours of professional input by some well qualified members of our Deacons’ Court to whom we are greatly indebted. A more detailed account of the work will be given at the forthcoming Annual Business Meeting.
In the meantime, we want to thank you for your understanding and cooperation while the work is progressing.

Cooks Needed for 26-30th June 2017
The annual week at Leadership Bootcamp will take place between Monday 26th June – Friday 30th June 2017, at Lendrick Muir. Leadership Bootcamp aims to equip young people in our churches with the necessary tools to build them into effective and influential leaders in whatever calling God has placed on their lives. We are looking to put in place a very important aspect of our team…the cooks. We are currently seeking at least three volunteers to come and help cook for the delegates over the week. We would be so grateful if you were able to help us with this. If it’s something you feel you’d like to be involved with do please email [email protected] or phone: 0131 226 5286.
